Helen Jones is an educator, academic and activist. Her research interests include collaborative comunication, pedagogy, gendered violence and primarily the rape crisis movement in the UK.

2005 brought a visit to Mongolia – ‘Women, Crime and Social Change in the Republic of Mongolia since 1990’ – to liaise with the Mongolian Women Lawyers Association in evaluating new legislation on Domestic Violence.

2008 saw the publication of her book 'Rape Crisis: responding to sexual violence' co-authored with Kate Cook.

She is a Senior Associate of C-SAP and leads an international collaboration with six other universities (see http://criminology.pbwiki.com/IEE+Project ).
